Went to the thrift store yesterday and was pushed off the wagon. Fortunately, I wasn't hurt as I landed in a pile of fabric. I got 4 yards of cream colored pinwale corduroy, 2 yards of hand dyed muslin and 3 yards that's woven with a gold colored weft & black warp (or maybe vice versa
). I think they are calling it 'shot' cotton now. Anyway, all for way under $10. Did a burn test when I got home and it's all 100% cotton, so all keepers. I'm making a small quilt for use in the car in the winter & I'm going to use the corduroy as a backing. Heavy, but should keep it from slipping off!
