It does seem as though there are few reviews for Viking..but also fewer dealers. I had the 4120 and it's impressive and does everything well..but to me, it was just a bit under-powered for use as a do-all machine. Its easy to test that with a new, appropriate needle and maybe a jean's hem or some task requiring more than a few layers of quilting weight cottons. I'd probably go with the Opal based on my experience. The sensor foot really is a great feature...and previous post states it does handle many layers easily. Have fun shopping!
