I'm typing quietly so my Whirlpool washer/dryer set doesn't hear me! They are quite old, and can be cantankerous at times, but I love them dearly! My washer is top load, 4 load levels, 4 water mix levels, and 4 load selections. She has been quite the workhorse, and is just now beginning to show signs of old age. She squeaks more, and sometimes doesn't want to fully spin those heavy loads. The dryer has 3 load choices, and 3 heat levels, and other than a broken door latch, (magnet holds it closed) has offered no problems. When the time comes, looks like SpeedQueen might be the way to go.
