Lightbulb Wool Mat and Freezer Paper

Today I made a great discovery that I wanted to share. I have a wool mat that I use for pressing when piecing a quilt. I make quilt labels by pressing fabric on to freezer paper and running it through my printer. Today I was preparing a piece of fabric for a label. My wool pressing mat was already on my ironing board, so I pressed the paper on to the paper using the mat. I was amazed at how much better the freezer paper stuck to the fabric. Even after I ran the fabric through the printer, it was still firmly stuck on. This would be helpful when appliqueing as well. I am sorry it took me so long to discover the trick! Hope someone else finds it useful as well.
