In return for doing some shop samples for a LQS, I received a wool covering for my ironing board--never take it off! Yes, it does smell like a wet sheep when I spray water on fabric, and you do have to watch that you don't let starch build up cause it sorches (the starch). But I love it! (and since I'm old enough to have worn wool skirts and sweaters to school in winter--pre everything is synthetic kid, it really is just wet wool!
