I second the guild newsletter. My guild is mostly (old) women (my guild has 2 men in it), so it should be a safer group of people reading the ad. I've sold and bought sewing machines on Craigslist and Marketplace, but I'm not yet 82. Just from the description of all the things she doesn't do, says to be careful.

Wow, I don't know where they are selling for that much. In the Finger Lakes area, you can get them for under $500. Like many things, I guess, it's all about location.
