PS: Do you have a pre-wound bobbin? They work well for embroidery projects as it is thinner thread.

I have owned several embroidery machines and currently have 2 Bernina Deco 600 single needle machines and 1 "new to me" 10 needle machine (an upgrade from a 6 needle) and it seems every time I go to embroider something I have forgotten some of the things I need to remember. I rely heavily on videos on You Tube so seek out those tutorials. I have found the machine manuals can be less than helpful when I'm trying to zero in on a particular thing. The turorials are your BEST friend. And also look for a group on Facebook of people who own the same machine you do. I belong to 2 groups and they are very helpful when I have a problem.

Go back to the dealer and ask for a refresher course. The Innovis is very popular, I've owned 2 in the past, and there may be an ongoing class you can join. They may charge you because it is your second go 'round, but it will be money well spent.
