I've never done a 5 day class either. I think it will be nice to have the time to really explore a new technique.

For those who have taken classes here or other similar classes, any suggestions for how to approach a 5 day class? Even with a single day class, I find that I have to make sure that I stay hydrated and get up and walk around, even if it means missing part of the instruction.

Gather supplies months in advance.
Find the instructor’s web site and read everything available about her/him.
Study up on the venue.
decide your goals for trip and class.
