I am appalled that you're not putting labels on your quilts. Unless they are destroyed in fire, somebody, somewhere in the future will be interested in who made them, where and when.
For the sake of history--because you are making tangible history when you make a quilt--at least put your name, a date and a place on a label for each quilt. You might even put the history of the quilt on the label. It's almost impossible to put too much information for people to read about your quilts 50 years from now.

Ok. Hope no quilt police read this. My worst thing is not stitching the quilting thread into the quilt. i love to finish the stitching with a couple of back stitches or sttches on one spot depends on the sewing machine, i just snip them off.
i hat the quilting part most of the time and just want to finish.

It's obvious the quilting police are losing control. I've seen a few patterns for "picnic" quilts popping up. Yup, quilts that are advertised as being used on the ground. A whole lot of rabble rousing going on!!:>
I thought for sure I was going to hear about it this weekend. I had a garage sale and used two of my quilts on the ground to show case "stuff". I did have one lady mention, "Oh I see you're a quilter as she was thumbing through the patterns I had for sale." But other than that, I escaped detection. Whew.
