I have made many of these so far..some only one in a particular fabric and some I did 2, 3 or 4 depending on how much fabric I had to use up..I have several more to do but need to get more metal tape measurers. Each has at least one outside pocket..a few have two. All have one or two inside pockets and all are stippled and it gives them a nice body.
I am making them for gifts...will be nice to have so many things made up so early and also to use up so many fabrics I don't want anymore for quilts..

Your snap totes look great. I am sure they will be loved as gifts. I just bought the pattern for snap happy when I was on vacation in Indiana in June. I had never heard of these. I was told to get the tape measures at the dollar store. I went to Shipshewana and bought 5 for $1 each at the flea market. Keeping an eye out at garage sales too!!!!

I found the smaller ones 3/4" at dollar tree and just a buch has the 1" wide ones ..those i need for the totes but the 3/4" are perfect for the small bags

Okay, I'll admit that I'm purse pattern illiterate but what are the measuring tapes for?

go to this site and you will see how she does small bags..nice for snacks or cosmetics or small sewing things whatever..I just used this idea and made them large for totes..i got the pattern for the totes but I don't like the way she puts them together so do it the same as the small bags and just add pockets
I did alot of stippling on them but not sure it shows in the pics
