Is working with Minkee difficult? Any special tips or tricks I should know about?

Those are so cute. I made one of those before I had my embroidery module. Embroidering names and dates is a great idea! Next time. Here's a picture of mine. BTW, never heard a word of thanks from the family I made it for. What is it with people these days and their failure to send thank you notes? I don't even know if they received it.

This is the 2nd post today that confirms I need to invest in the embroidery machine. How adorable----especially with the personalization. It's a special touch.

I found the one I have on eBay, and I love it. Believe me, though I shed quite a few tears over it before I found someone who could teach me to use it. If the same thing happens to you, just check in with you're lqs, especially if they sell your brand of machine. Someone will be able to give you lessons.

The blanket is double. When you are doing the embroidery you have to use tearaway on the bottom and aquafilm on the top. If you do not use the aquafilm on the top, your embroidery will not be nice. OESD stabilizers is what I used. I got it from the Bernina store. Hope this will be helpful. Mama Sharon
