Prefer the purple. Maybe a small black one between?

For what it is worth, I design quilts professional and face this decision every day. I will say a definate no to the orange bat fabric because the focus is those precious jack-o-lanterns and they almost disappear with that fabric as a border. The purple is nice. It's a little busy, but Halloween is busy. If you want classy, you would go with a combination of borders chosen from the fabrics in blocks. But fun, the purple and I agree with the quilter who said an inner border would allow the lanterns to have the attention they deserve.

I like the purple. I don't think it's too busy, it sets off your pumpkins nicely. I think the orange one is too much orange and distracts from your pumpkins. Just my opinion though!
    They sure are cute!!

I like the one with the candy corn on it but I don't think it was in the running! :D The purple is my next choice...

I once used a purple scarecrow fabric with a Halloween print and loved the combination so I vote purple (BTW, orange is my favorite color).
