I love the sound of the wind in winter it's like you can hear the lost soles of the past, wind in the pines, sound of a rushing river, the call of a bull elk to his mate and a baby's laugh it always brings a smile to my face.

all of these.
I love to wake to, "Nana, good morning time!" by my nearly seven year old heartssong!
windchimes tinkling...dh talking in his sleep :)
soft rain
birds and crickets in the back yard
my youngest grandbaby saying anything on the phone. Lately she says, "Nana is so funny, da-e!" (daddy:) )
"I love you too."
Dinner cooking.
All kinds of music evokes nostalgic memories for me, but I do love to hear Christmas music in the background. I feel the love and he magic of this time of the year. :)

my dgd & dgs running down the hall yelling "grammy's home!"
the silence of being the only one still up @ nite,
the sound of the washer running, to remind me how lucky i am (did all the laundry including the cloth diapers in the bathtub for a couple years, we were so broke1)
the sound of the car starting the first time you turn the key..haven't always had that either!
the furnace or fridge kicking on in the middle of the night..reminds me to count my blessings.
the sound of sheets snapping on the clothesline
the steam burst frm the iron when i'm sewing
the sewing machine when it is flowing "just right"
dh's ringtone & voice on the phone
dh snoring, cause that means he's home & not out of town for work (he's gone 3-4 nites a week)
