I too switched to Firefox, and it runs much smoother :D:D:D

Thanks for all the help. Will try Firefox. The problem just started recently, so may be conflict with something I have downloaded.

Firefox is good and I like it, but I like Google's Chrome even more...also a freebie. It is a tabbed browser and is really slick. I keep Explorer and Firefox also, but make Chrome my default browser. (Sometimes I need IE because some silly programmers tie their sites into it.)

I forgot to mention something about Chrome that I really like. The address bar serves as a search bar also. Makes finding and getting to a site fast!

Just a little update on the Internet Explorer problem. I went to the Explorer web site and found the problem I was having and followed the instructions to reset Explorer and so far it has worked OK. I did do Firefox and like it also. Will also try Chrome but have not had time yet. Thanks for all the info and help. This board is great.
