Don't know about where you shop but our store has many different lines of fabric - Legecy, Susan Winlet, Debbie Mumm, and 2 or 3 others - mostly better quality. I have gotten fabric with name brands on the salvage. I have bought many pieces of good quality fabric even in the made for JoAnn fabric, there is the 3.99 a yard and all the way up to 9.99 a yard. The price will tell you the quality, as you know, we get what we pay for. And beware, I have heard, cotton prices are going up.

I took my mom to Joann's last week and forgot to take coupons. They still gave her the 50% off because we are both on their mailing list. I thought that was nice.

I've signed up to be on their mailing list about 10 times, get one flyer and never see another much less coupons. I gave up a long time ago, how can something so easy be so difficult??

I have been using my coupons on line. I can find more items I want/need that are not on sale, plus a 10 percent off entire purchase, I have gotten some good deals on items I did not have and shipping was cheaper than gas.

Jo-Ann Fabrics Sold for $1.6 Billion, Shares SkyrocketDate: 28 Dec 2010 Comments: 0

Looks lіkе somebody lіkеѕ Jo-Ann Fabrics more thаn уουr Aunt Gertrude.

Private-equity firm Leonard Green & Partners wіll bυу Jo-Ann Stores fοr $61 a share ($1.6 billion). Thе deal indicates a 34 percent premium tο JAS’ Wednesday closing price οf $45.63.

With big business in there. The prices could skyrocket. they are already up about 25% from a year ago.

    has to be the economy....
I try to avoid Joanns though. Although their fabric quality has gone up, their employees attitude has not. I have yet to encounter someone friendly and helpful there. Sad truth. And we have several Joanns in the area.
I either order online or hold off money-wise until I can go to one of our LQSs.

I am getting a lot also. But since most everything is on sale the 50% off coupons are worthless. It is very frustrating.

Contact them by going on their website to get the corporate number and call them. They want your business, you can be sure of that!

Yes, Yes Yes! Makes me SO MAD! They send them as a "hook" to pull you into the store, but then put everything on "sale" at lower prices to keep you from using them!

I was at our Joann'a yesterday, and used 2 coupons and saved $ 60, I like it and don't really understand all of you that don't. We only have 1 LQS and the selection is not that great. I use the coupons and love thatif I need a tool I don't have to wait for mail orders.
