Yes - I live in Paducah and the flooding is pretty bad now and expected to get worse. In addition, some forecasts call for 10-12 inches of rain in the next week

So sorry about the bad weather, but what a great place to be living when it is time for the quilt show.

I talked to my mom who is down there now and she said they are putting the flood gates in today. I really hope the water stays down and doesn't mess with anything. Fingers crossed!!

I just talked to my aunt who lives in Metropolis, Illinois (across the river from Paducah). She said the water is up over the banks and into the outskirts of town. I think she said Second Street. This would mean the hotels by the river may not be open.
