Have taken several classes - inexpensive and the instructions are great - if you have problems the instructor gets right back to you as well. Well worth the $$ and I can take the classes in my jammies!!

Thanks to everyone for posting information on the classes. I signed up for the free class.

Sounds like I need to keep track of the classes I take so I don't sign up for them again!

I wonder how often the topics come around. ??????

It's a great experience......whether you actually do the class or print it all off and put in a binder for future reference or to do at some future date.

I have taken 3 classes with QU. The owner periodically puts up a newsletter. Lots of times it is to show you new listings, but also I enjoy her written articles. I have visited this site for about 5 years and it is easily maneuverable and explained thoroughly. You can go see previous work done by students, there is a public chat area if you aren't in a class. Depending on the teacher, they are terrific at explaining things you don't quite understand. The full info on each teacher is there also. I was living in another country without classes when I took my first one and it really made me feel that I was "returning home to the U.S." for class. (although it was fun to meet online new friends from other places in the world). It is really a lovely atmosphere and community sense at this web class site.

I have taken quite a few classes from them and have loved all of them. I am currently taking a hand piecing class after looking at the work that Jinny Beyer does. The teachers are always very helpful along with the other students. I would definitely recommend them

That question, and many others, is answered on the Student Oreintation page. http://www.quiltuniversity.com/orientation.htm Many classes are offered twice a year, basic classes more often, and if a class is offered only once a year it will be marked.

Classes are offered from January to October (starting dates). When the October classes are done, they go on a semester break for the holidays and start back up in January.

Glad you signed up for the free class. Enjoy!!

Thank you all for your positive comments and information - I've signed up for the beginner EQ7 and am excited to be taking the class now rather than having it just sitting on my computer taking up space! Class starts Friday =)
