I am very interested in taking some of their classes and would love to hear what you thought about the experience. How it compared to taking a class at a local quilt shop. Any info you can give would be appreciated.

I have looked at their site too, so I can't wait to see what others say. We live in the "boonies", so I had thought of trying them to have a few classes.

I took a dyeing class at quilt U and loved it, you can go at your own speed and you get feed back, on questions you may have, and you also get to post and see all the other class mates work. I really enjoyed my class, hope this helps they have live chat also

I have taken about 20 classes over the past few years and can't say how wonderful it is! You can print out the class material and keep it forever!

I have taken six classes from the Hawaiian App. to Bargello classes and Baltimore . Great teachers and classes. The teachers are very good. Excellent. I do recommend this to everyone.

I too have taken a few classes at Quilt U. Loved them all, and wish I had more time to do more of them. While you can go at your own pace, you still need to work on your project during the class, so if you have any questions, you can ask them before the class ends. But if you don't get your project finished on time, it isn't a problem.

I have taken some of the EQ classes in the past and learned so much about the program, more than just trying to read the books. I need to find the time to take some more of the advanced classes and learn more about the program.

I think any class there would be great. The person that runs it, keeps finding new teachers, and coming up with new classes all the time. They are about ready to stop for the holidays, and will start more classes after the first of the year.

They have a free sample class on Borders that you can try out to see how it all works. http://www.quiltuniversity.com/registrar_free.htm I've taken several classes at Quilt U and they have all been fantastic. It's well worth taking any class you're interested in and they add new classes all the time.
