I just needed to remove markings I'd misplaced last night. I mixed up oxyclean in a spray bottle, and then rubbed it with one of those Mr. Clean magic sponges and it came right off. Maybe this would work on yours, too?

I had a problem with gray chalk, I think Fons and Porter, not sure. It didn't come out in the wash. I'm going to wash again and spray it with something. It is on cream fabric.

Thanks for all of your ideas/solutions. I'm really hoping that I did not set those markings in, also. I did try rubbing alcohol last night on a test sample and it worked. So I'm going to try that. With regards to Roxanne's website....I found several ideas there that I previously had tried but no luck. I have my fingers crossed that the alcohol will work. I did find online the spray that someone mentioned. I may see if I can try that.

If nothing else, I will try to wash the quilt. It is a big queen size quilt. This would be a last resort kinda thing, though. Thanks again.

I used an art eraser. It was a little messy but it worked fairly well. Then I took a soft toothbrush, a little diluted woolite and gently scrubbed the square. Then I switched to a pounce pad and iron-off miracle chalk...love the pounce pad and chalk...no problems at all. Good luck.
