I like EVERYTHING!! If I make an item for myself i choose my style but if I am making an item for someone else I try to please them! i decorate my house country style and so my quilts have that same flavor. I prefer bold colors to pastels and I only use beiges and grays etc for backgrounds. One of my latest quilting endeavors is brilliant butterflies on black I call Dancing in the dark!!

Definitely Suttle Sally. I love the bold colors but that's just not me.

I am curious as to whether you are a blond or a brunette?.Most brunettes like jewel tones because they look their best when dressed in those colors so they tend to choose them when quilting.Years ago they talked about dressing in colors depending on skin tones and they were listed as spring winter summer and fall.I think people choose fabric in colors that they feel comfortable wearing.I am jewel tones all the way.

I love them all, but tend to like the bright just a little bit more. Sometimes, there are color combos I would NEVER think of, but when I see them in someone's quilt, I really like them and put them on my list to try. I love trying new combos of colors.

I love bright colors. So I'm a Bold Betty.

Pat75 I am a natural red head. I don't look good in darker colors or pastels; the jewel tones look great on me.
