    Welcome from South east of you. I live down close to Truman Lake. Hope you emnjoy your time here as much as I do. Wonderful and very helpful people on here. Good luck with your quilt. I would try a smaller one tho to start. Not so discouraging if you decide to quit. June

    I agree. I have had so many big projects sitting unfinished, just because I lost interest. BUT, I've finished small projects and was so happy with my results! A wall hanging, or table runner, or the new to me, bed runners might be right up your alley! Oh, and welcome from Winston, Oregon!

    Pot holders, table toppers, wall hangings, lap quilts, (even a larger one)...You have so many choices. Make what you want!

    I agree, don't overwhelm yourself.
    Keep it fun with no stress, especially your first few projects. Perhaps nothing larger than a lap quilt to start out.

    Welcome! My daughter lives in KC and frequently rescues baby birds that her not-so-nice neighbor kids have had a hold of. Maybe she will call you some time.
