    Bet it hurts more now, then when it first happened. Big OUCH!!! I've come close... and dread the day. Hope you heal quickly... and please, don't hold it against your machine.

    I have an older Viking and I put the needle thru my finger. I had to go to ER. When I got there I had needle sticking out of the top and thread hanging out of the bottom. When I gotack home all I had to do was put a new needle in the machine and it sewed just fine!

    I did the same thing...on my longarm! Ouch, ouch, ouch! Hope it heals quickly! And I too, loved the comment about the men in the house :-P

    I had that happen only the tip of the needle went in with thread had to pull thread outthen with the tip on an angle evert time I moved hand I was in severe pain went to E.R. had to do surgery to get tip out NEVER EVER want to do it again!!!

    Have to share an "OUCH" too!

    Last week I succeeded in cutting a chunk of my finger off. It doesn't look too bad this week - healed nicely. It's obvious to me, but no one else. Yes, I ran from my fabric, too, because I didn't want any to get on it!

    Many years ago in my first year of teaching .... having given instructions and warnings, one student sewed right over her finger. She was so intent in guiding the fabric, she forgot to let go. The needle broke and part of it was in her finger....went to ER to have it removed. Gives me the willies!!
