Thank you for this recipe! It makes my mouth water looking at the pictures. Just one more question on the freezing of them. Do you find they are a bit soggy once they have been cooked and then frozen. I make around 25 apple pies each fall but I freeze them all and then cook them when I want one. I find doing it this way the pies are not soggy. Just wondering if these can be frozen prior to frying. Thanks again, I can't wait to make some!

Yes, they can be frozen before they are cooked. I use waxed paper between each pie though, when they thaw alittle they tend to stick together. :-D And your very welcome.

Do you drain any of the liquid from the apples before adding the cornstarch mixture, or just add to the bowl with the apples, liquid and all?

Thanks. You were right. They don't last long. Unfortunately, I ate most of them.

I live in a Senior Housing Complex and made these yesterday for my neighbors....they were a Huge hit....Thank You very much, I will treasure this recipe. My 4 year old Granddaughter, who insisted she didn't like apple pie, ate a whole one and asked for more. She was visiting me while her Mom was at work.
