    Very nice!! I use fleece instead of batting sometimes too and LOVE the way it turns out! The quilt is very cute and you did a great job!

    Thanks for the replies. It's funny, my wife's mom did not teach her to sew, mine taught me to mend with a machine. As the years progressed, I gained interest in sewing as I taught my wife the basics. I am grateful for all of the responses and hope to post a new quilt in a few weeks. It is another learner, after that, I hope to go from scratch for a queen and learn from your work.
