    Welcome from another Texan, down on the coast in Palacios. I'm just assembling a Log Cabin in the same setting but will machine quilt mine on my regular sewing machine. But...I'm interesting in what these experienced handquilters will recommend!

    Lovely quilt...I love any of the traditional patterns.

    Welcome to the board! :>) Why not try an outline of a cowboy hat or a cowboy boot. They should be easy enough to find a picture to trace (enlarge or shrink to fit the space). Good luck with your search.
