    quite ingenious...... like on walker legs.... I used to have a terrible set of kitchens chairs that were hard on my floors, I found a set of "teflon/silicon?" chair feet that nailed onto the bottoms, sure made them glide nicely. I got mine at the hardware store, but I've now seen them at WallyWorld......
    U do what works.... who cares if it's funky!

    Does this stool have a removable seat with storage about 3" deep underneath? If so then I think I have one thinking it was Aunt GG's vanity seat! Aunt GG was a marvelous seamstress so it is feasible for her to have one!

    Yep, the seat lifts off and there is storage in there. It's probably a sewing stool! I keep assorted extra sewing feet in there, and the original manual, but not much else. I'm a 'if I can't see it, I forget about it' person, so hidden storage doesn't work.
