    Default Assistance finding LQS

Good morning to all, hope your Christmas season is happy and healthy, in the company of family and friends.
During the break between Christmas and New Year's I will likely be traveling to the Buffalo, NY area.
Please let me know of any LQS, as I would like to try and visit some.
I will be traveling with non-quilting friends, so I can't make a huge detour. I know my way to Favourite Fabrics (love that place,) and can find my way to Joann's.

If you know of a LQS that will be open between Dec 27 - 30, please let me know their address.

    Thanks,
    GEMRM

A friend and I are planning a little shop hop near the Buffalo area on the 30th, so we did call a few shops to see if they would be open. Here are 2 we are planning on visiting:

    Marie's Sewing Center - 6322 Robinson Road - Lockport, NY 14095
    www.mariessewingcenter.com

    Sew What? - 6816 Main Street - Buffalo, NY 14221 - (716) 632-8801
    www.sewwhatquiltshop.com

I haven't been to either of these shops before, so I can't really tell you about them.

    Have a great trip!
    Ronnie

I believe their is a Baby Lock/Bernina dealer in the area that has a great shop. I can't think of the name right now but if you go on either of those machine websites you can find the shop.

The Quilt Barn is great. It's in Colden, although I think they list their address as Boston.

Pine Grove Quilt Shop (2962 Delaware Avenue Buffalo) is very nice.

Auntie's Attic Quilt Shop (2043 Military Rd Niagara Falls)

Patchwork Garden is at 6281 Transit Road

Threads of Time on Sheridan Drive

There are two nice ones in East Aurora - Aurora Sewing Center and The Carriage Quilt Shop

I have lots of family there so I visit and my aunt and I create our own shop hop for a few days. Been to all these shops, and would go back. Have fun!

Thanks for the suggestions, i will look up the various locations and see where the places are, so when we go, I can "detour" the group if we're close (My definition of "close" might not be quite the same as theirs!). Unfortunately, the GPS tells the distance to destination, and the mileage, so I can't "fudge" the numbers. Let's hope they can't see that part of the screen!
