Thanks Foxflower I have been stitching together all the leftover 4 patches & HST's this afternoon, there is enough to make to pillow shams!

Awesome. Don't you just love using up every last bit? A set will be so nice.

Well I can't say it's every last bit exactly, haven't you read about how scraps multiply in the dark???

True enough. At least the scraps are easier to trap than the mice , and with such fabulous results!

Well I 'played' in my scraps again all day yesterday...I got sidetracked and started colour coordinating, all I succeeded in doing was to give me the urge to start a new project, instead of finishing off some of the UFO's that I have. So, I decided that something had to go...so disbanded a couple of UFO's, one that I had 'acquired' in a job lot of fabric from ebay, (the piecing is too bad), so will unpick the blocks and add to my scraps! Plus a baby quilt I started that just didn't 'grab' me! With the result that I now only have 3 ufo's to finish...one day!
    :O

This is a wonderful thread! I enjoy making scrappy quilts more than any other kind. Maybe it's something about the surprise factor, never knowing for sure exactly how they'll turn out. Here are some of mine.

Flannel scrappy; ultrasuede ears and floss tails

    Uneven courthouse steps

Stadium quilt made from old jeans and corduroy scraps

Double Hammerhead (AKA Apple Core); a charm quilt with each fabric appearing only once
