mscupid804, I used Publisher to insert the map of USA then added the stars to each state by inserting them in a text box. Very simple. To get it into a jpeg format to post a pic, I printed out the page then scanned it to make it a jpeg. I try and find a simple way to do things without having to have the expensive software programs on my computer.

Love the quilt and goodies that Elisabrat made! Very nicely done.

Krystyna - post or PM the fabric info and I will look this weekend (if you can wait that long).

Lynnie, you forgot me. I am in California. I know it was in Melbourne when we exchanged our DQ but it actually was made here in CA. LOL.

Murphy is being so mean to me! You know Mr. Murphy, the Law that says if anything can go wrong... Not that i believe it, but it sure felt like a bad luck kinda day... I got my bad hand smushed under a falling book, dang I am sure you must have heard me screaming and carrying on. So now I am back to square one with this right hand.

So Counting my blessings, i can type pretty good with one hand, and I am left handed! I already finished the DQ for August (it is going with a very minor label, so sorry needleGrammy) Postage Stamps are all ready to go, and Boom 8 fabric is ready to head out with just an added label.

Do I have any volunteers who want to come to my house to sew?????

Here is the amazing little quilt made by my partner
BuzzinBumble aka Lara. My photo doesn't do justice to the colors. They are fantastic. And the pieces are soooo teeny tiny!

She was also so kind and generous and sent some minky (which I've never sewn with before), two magazines with some extremely cool modern and civil war patterns I want to try, and patterns for a seasonal quilt and an Amish doll!

    Thank you sooo much!

OOPS! Sorry about the extra photos. They didn't seem to be uploading ... but I guess they were! Now they won't go!!!
