Hi Everyone

Welcome from Pine Grove, CA!
Your story sounds a lot like mine. I made a quilt for my oldest child with intentions to make one for each subsequent baby as well. That didn't happen and they "shared the quilt".
When my first grandson was born two years ago, I got the itch again and was as surprised as used to discover cutting mats and rotary cutters! How did I ever make a quilt without them?
You'll love it here. It is a friendly place and the pictures are downright inspirational!

I am still trying to figure out how to use the rotary cutters & all the different rulers. Heck, Grandma & I bought our fabric by the yard, used cardboard templates to cut patterns out and we cut the fabric out with scissors! I hope I get the hang of using all the new quilting stuff. I just finished my first quilt (in this century) for my grand-daughter. I quilted it on my machine. Finally got the hang of it after watching some videos online. I had some problems with the binding but finally figured that out to.

Hope to get to know everyone.

I learned about the Disappearing Nine Patch here and have enjoyed it so much.
