Absolutely. And that would apply for people considering one child as well as having more!

As long as they can take care of them, have at it but I am in agreement with pocoellie, there are too many people in the world as it is. And whom do we eliminate? We eliminate no one, just don't have them in the first place. The attitude of the people in the article is just plain selfish and self serving. Sorry if I offend anyone but just sayin'.

I had an aunt who had a dozen kids. Each kid had to parent another kid. I remember when the cousin who was my age started carrying a baby on her hip, she was ten years old. I used to hate visiting them and hearing my aunt complain about the kids cooking, or how they did the laundry. It looked like a miserable life to me.
I have not seen the series the Duggars have, but I did see a special when they first hit the air and that house is run like a machine, everyone has to 'help'the little ones. Michelle Duggar runs a pretty tight ship. It just reminded me of my aunt and depressed me.
As for the family who has all those boys, I bet the toilet seat is never down in that house!

Poor mom is all I say, I think it's great to have a large family I had 5 and take care of and love them all but I will say this my body is like a patchwork quilt internally, I have lots of issues. Beautiful though! As to their being too many people very few people are having more than 2 kids now so one out of hundred having 12 is t going to over populate us.
