Default Ideas for left over fabric

I've purchased two Christmas tree panels from Northcott and along both the top and bottom are some beautiful snowflakes. I would like to do something with them, but don't want my wall hanging to be as long as it would make it if I left them on the panel. Any ideas on something I could do?

Oh, too bad the panels are Christmas trees! My first thought was to cut out the snowflakes and applique them in the shape of a Christmas tree, lol. I recently saw a quilt where someone had done this and it was gorgeous.

How about attaching them to the sides or even both to one side?

Cut them up for christmas ornaments? Cut them up and add some color matched or other Christmas colored squares to go on the sides of the wall hanging.

I like the idea of the table runner suggested by DOTTYMO, it could coordinate or compliment the wall hanging, or be a separate project/gift?
You could use the snowflakes to make coasters or mug rugs, or incorporate into a table centre mat?

How about center them in the Log Cabin Diamond tree skirt?

All of you are WONDERFUL! I am just so NOT creative! I loved the panel and was really excited, but I hated for the beautiful snowflakes not to get used. You've given me some great ideas! Thank all of you so much! Less than 80 days to Christmas! Thanks again!
