Here are the pics of my Hello Kitty rag quilt. It is half clipped and should be ready to wash by Tuesday. I have been messing around with it for weeks but this weekend help me get it done. I also made my son 2 messy pads (washable) for his computer desk. Combo mouse pad and placemat, he eats at his computer a lot. I have been using a sheet but these will be better. He is autistic and has seizures so I gave him a plastic table from Costco (rounded corners and lightweight) for a desk but it is not smooth and his mouse won't work on it. So these will help me and him keep his desk clean.

Kaelynangelfoot and kristakz your quilts are gorgeous. I too stayed in most of the weekend. No shopping. Tree is up and house is decorated. Getting ready to go walk in the local Christmas parade.

Looks great ragquilter, I'm sure it will be well loved! What size do you make the "messy pads"? I eat at my computer often also and am not the neatest of persons.

I made these about 20 x 20 to fit my son's desk. I bought a 1/4 yd of fabric and pieced it, I added a light batting and denim on the back.

Well this afternoon I sat down with my hand quilting hoop and went to work with Lee Child's 4th audio book. I worked through 4 cd's before supper. So that was good.

Nice to see everyone's projects, thanks for sharing them! I managed to get the tree & trimmings up and prep & company last night & now again tonight, waiting for company to arrive.... managed a few long walks before the deluge of rain.... have managed a few minutes in the sewing room, but need to go & buy some 16" zippers...so guess a little road trip is in the plans for the next few days. I really enjoy seeing how much people can accomplish in a weekend, thanks to all that arrange them and those that participate!

Ragquilter, thanks for the pics, those are great! I'm going to put a couple on my list, they're kind of like an extra large mug rug.
