    Default Civil war day dress

I would like you all to know that I not only just clean vintage machines and cabinets and quilt I make my wife's civil war dress for our reenactments and my own. This is the dress I made for our reenactment this coming April. I used my Grover and Baker and Singer 27 on this.

Wow Glenn that looks nice. Did you crochet that collar, too? Pat is going to look real good on your arm.

GOOD Job Glenn. What are you going to wear? Show us if you have made it.

Thanks Miriam. No I did not make the collar Pat found it in a thrift shop. Although I make them I am glad I did not have to this time.

Pretty cool stuff. I really like the dress. The fish quilt behind it is nice too. And that's quite a nice uniform.
So far all I've sewn is a tux for one of our dogs (poor dog) and am part way thru my first quilt.

I am so impressed with your sewing ability. I can't make clothes.
