    Default Light tracing for applique

I got this tip from Sindy at Fat Cat Patterns (I follow FCP on facebook).
She told of how she had been wanting a light box for a long time but
    couldn't afford the price.

She found the Crayola Light Up Tracing Pad at WalMart for $19.97,
and said how well it worked for her.

So last week I went to WalMart to look for one and couldn't find any.
This week however I was at the same store and decided to look in the
school/office supplies area instead of the toys and I found one.

She is right it works great, and for the cost it's not a bad investment
    if you do applique.

I took mine to work on Tuesday with me and at lunch I sat at the
conference table to trace out some designs.

Sounds like you got a good deal. Be sure to show us some of what you did.

Bellaboo posted about it last year under Inexpensive Light Box and I ran out and got mine right away. I LOVE it.

I just bought one of those too! Haven't tried it yet, but I know it will be easier than trying to "see" thru the tracing paper.

I have been looking at walmart for one of those, but haven't found one yet. I like doing hand embroidery, and trace over pictures I find.
