    Default New Kid on the Block

    Hello everyone;

    I'm the enabler, ( I pick out lots of material) my wife's the quilter. However I like power tools!,
    and a sewing machine is just another power tool

    Just bought a new to us Necchi Supernova, pick it up in a couple days, but need a manual, so I joined to talk with all ya'all (That's plural for you all, I'll learn this "southern" yet)

    Now I am going to learn to sew, lot's of projects.

    Blessings all!

    Keith

    Wink

    Thanks everybody for the warm welcome.

    JenPen, I may need to find one of those and set it in my wood shop. It will certainly make some people ask questions! LOL

    One of my goals is to learn to sew well enough that I can sew my own Hot Air balloon envelope. That's several hundred yards of 1.2 oz fabric, done with a 3/8" spaced double needle fell seam. I figure that cutting and making a few quilts should be good practice at getting all the corners to line up.

    Happy Monday!

    Keith
