    Default Memory Quilt

    Made this memory quilt for a good friend - made from her mom's clothes. Back was from one of her mom's bed sheets. Incorporated pics into it as well.

    In memory of my mother always gave her child was crying because poppy petal poppy but always fell off. Pictured is only one petal fall down.[ATTACH=CONFIG]477892[/ATTACH]

    What a wonderful memory quilt. I know she will treasure it. I love making memory quilts out of clothing. I have made several of them myself.

    This is a wonderful idea. I once made a quilt for my kids out of fabrics that had been used for sewing when I was a teenager. My mom and my sister and I all sewed so there were a lot of scraps. That quilt is long gone, it got loved so much that is literally fell apart. That is the joy to me of quilting.
