Mrs Finch;

I echo Sharon. Beautiful quilt top & I love the color combinations. I wish my quilt police friend could see it. She always critiques/criticizes my color choices - as in I use too many - and you could definitely show her possibilities and probably far gentler than me.

You are too kind: 90 percent was a pack of pre-cuts so it was already color-coordinated. i threw in some of my yard sale calicos and Bertie did all the work! My co-worker saved him from going to the landfill.

Precuts are fabulous for color coordinating fabric. FYI: She says the same thing about most of my yarn choices too. I think she's against using colorful anything personally. Anyway, precuts or not, it is still a fabulous top and good save on Bertie.

Chris, your policeperson is probably just jealous. Sorry you have to deal with that. Disapproval bites.

It sure does. Matchy matchy is way overrated even for fringe on a scarf.

These are so cute and I can see a lot of loving work went into them.

I am thrilled to have joined this board and find the others with same affliction.
I am legaly blind so stay mostly with large block ragtime quilts, I sew with a White
Rotary and a Majestic. I also have the Hagen we are trying to rebuild.

Okay, so it's not a quilt, but it is made with quilted fabric. I made a cover for my 201-2 named Elizabeth(all my favorite machines have names).

That is beautiful Cari. Did you do the embroidery with the 201 as well?
