I never really had any I didn't like. I would finish it up and store with the others I have made. All waiting for homes.

I once found 4 quilt tops at St. Vinney's and asked if I could take them home and finish them. They wanted me to pay for them, but I said I was going to bring them back finished. So they let me take them, and in a few weeks I had them back ready to sell.

A park employee will throw it in the trash before you can blink 3 times.

These are all great ideas. I've got a couple tops I know I'm not going to finish. I started them way too long ago and they just aren't interesting to me anymore. Great ideas!

TSk. What is wrong with park employees in Indiana? Here in Seattle, random acts of art are celebrated on the news or in blog writings.

I am just finishing one up that is like that to me. I like the top, but the print in the Batiks on it don't let the quilting show. I wanted to do it heirloom, but decided to just meander it, put an over/under feather in one border and a swirl in the last border. It is now utilitarian and not what I wanted at all. Sure disappointing after all the money and work. Oh well, lesson learned

Use it for picnics. Either as a table cloth or something to sit on.
I keep one in the trunk of my car it has come in handy many times.

Or you could just leave it on a park bench somewhere as a random act of art and see what happens. I sometimes find that to be a wonderfully amusing solution to the unloved creations -- but then I live adjoining a large park and can espy the outcomes.
Random acts of quilting.....love your response. What a cool idea.
