Tiffany my White 1514 did everything but the zigzagging around the letters.
For a fund-raiser. Can you guess the breed!

These are my very first quilts. Technically. A pair of mug rugs for a gift exchange. Made on my 1975 Kenmore 1311 (a year older than I am, so totally vintage). They're washed and will be sent off later today to some guy in Brooklyn. They measure 7.5 x 12 inches.

Oh monopas, you are making me feel old (and I am NOT!!! LOL) as I graduated high school in '73.
    Your mug rugs are adorable!

Yay! Finally someone younger than me!! I'm a '74 vintage. Your mug rugs look great! I only recently started making mug rugs. Mostly I use the "keeper" parts of my practice on the LA for coasters and plate cozies.

Thanks, everyone! Even my practice pieces came out well, so I'm going to give the nice one to one of my cousins. It is rather nice to be making something that is useful.

The success has, of course, gone to my head. Because I actually think it might be possible to make a Christmas tablemat for another cousin between now and Thursday. And bake a pie. If I stopped fooling around with the Internets and started ironing it could happen.
