Rodney, very nice machine and price. I need another sewing machine like I need another Boxer (dog) in my life right now.

This would be a good donation machine to the same place I'm donating a couple of Singer 15s if I were a 1000 miles or so closer. They are being donated to a foster family type camp where several sets of parents have multiple foster children that they raise/foster cooperatively. Families are excited about the machines.

Did anyone in the Seattle area notice the Singer hand crank machine in Monroe? The ad said only "Sewing Machine" and "First Singer sewing machine" and the machine looked just like the one I just got, except more complete with wood base and a cover near the hand wheel.... The hand crank was barely visible in the photo!
The bed is just as beat up ... weird.

The ad is gone now - because the machine is now mine -- another Singer 28. Can't wait to find out which one is older.... :-)

(Tally for January: bought 4, sold 1 -- hmmmm.)
