    It is awful. You have to cut yourself off from buying/rescuing more vintage or antique or just really freaking cool awesome sewing machines - akin to cutting off part of or a whole finger/toe. Then you have to be truly stern with yourself and try to ignore said machine(s) despite what they're saying to you. I tried to ignore my new toy for an entire week but the siren's song just kept getting louder and louder until I surrendered and rescued her/him.
