I did not. This one makes the $250 pricetag seem reasonable that I saw on the same model. It was in an antique shop that was more glass and stuff than antiques. It was also complete.

$1999.00 is just for the head, not the "table" with it, and is it even a Singer?

    CD in Oklahoma

The irons are, maybe the lid but the lid decal looks wrong as in maybe redone? The machine looks German to me and it might be missing a piece right above the badge. Rectanglar needle chart or similar. There isn't usually a cavern there.

Nope. The irons and lid are from a Singer, but this is a Singer 12 clone. I'm with Tammi, it looks German. I just sold a German hand crank 12 clone just like this for $A135 (Frister & Rossmann). Wonder what he expects people to do with a head after giving him two grand for it.

I saw this ad and I have a few questions.....

    http://www.kijiji.ca/v-view-image.ht...ationFlag=true

Has anyone ever seen a serial number plate positioned upside down?

Also, in the pic with the accessories, does anyone know what is the long wooden object, on the right, with the 2 pins and the the similar one above it that has the center hole?

I wonder if the serial is a trick of the camera. The wood pieces are the spacers and locks from the cabinet. They belong between the 2 drawers on each side. Calls into question the "refinishing" job,...
