Only about 10 sales (it's a small town) and because I wasn't looking for any sewing machines and because I can't buy anything right now, what did I find? 2 Free treadles in lovely cabinets, an Old Maryland (?) treadle in a nice cabinet, about 10 various machine heads, a great 1970's Necchi & a 1990's Singer. All I could do was drool and say, Non, No, No, No while in my head I was saying other stronger words. The most expensive was a Free in a nice cabinet which needed work on the door hinges and that was $60. Some things were in bad shape some in very nice condition. Winnebago is about 9 mi. north of Blue Earth, MN on 169 or about 35 mi. south of Mankato, MN. if anyone wants to check things out today.
When I first read your post, I almost choked on my tea !! I thought "Free" was the price !!

Last weekend was a work weekend. Trying to get the cabin ready for the summer season. I can not take on any more machines until I finish cleaning up the last four.

I'm drooling as I read this, but I have no more room for more machines. I have a Montgomery Ward Damascus Grand treadle, a Singer FW, Singer 99K, Singer Golden Touch'n'Sew (was my mom's), a New Home Memory Craft 6000 (needs a good going-over, but no Janome dealers close by), and a Pfaff Expression 2038. Oh, but if I had the room...!

I wish yard sales here had beautiful machines like you saw. Never have I seen one at a yard sale. I wish...

Oh dear!!! Garage sale fate.....I would want to take them all home with me, we just don't have great sales like that here in my area in Texas. If only....I can dream!

I have way too many now but always manage to make room for one or two more when I find them.
