    She probably means quilt but calls it a blanket. My fondest memories of being with my Grandmother was when we sewed clothes for me.

    I taught my two grandsons to sew and also how to cook. Someday when they get married they will know at least how to do those two things. The oldest was taught at the age of four and the youngest at the age of eight. The youngest is now sixteen and made a quilt for Ronald McDonald house and received a picture frame and a thank you card. He was very excited and last two years of middle school he had to take home economic and he had a Head start from the rest of the class. That sure made this grandma happy and you will be thrilled to. Enjoy while you can and while it lasts.
