Bonnie has added a tab at the top of her blog for the mystery quilt. The introduction, all clues, and her weekly photo link ups can be found at that tab. http://Quiltville.blogspot.com

Still waiting for our ongoing main thread post to be approved by admin. I'll post a link to it here when it goes "live" and then this thread will be closed.

Several people on the Facebook page have already gotten the paint chip cards and are willing to get some for those who don't live near a Lowe's. Check out that page for more information (search: Quiltville Open Studio on Facebook).

I'm venturing outside Bonnie's colours this year, in an effort to use up my stash. Most will be single fabrics (I don't really like scrappy quilts) but 2 of the colours will end up scrappy simply due to lack of options in my stash.
I have teal (Bonnie's gold), purple (red), brown (black), grey (grey), and cream (neutral). Brown and cream are my scrappy fabrics. Comments welcome - I have lots of time to rethink my options

I went to Lowes and got the paint chips today----really like the colors so I am definitely in!! BonnieI, your fabrics look like they match the colors great! I haven't started looking yet---I know I have lots of the blacks and grey but don't have much in the dark gold and red group. May have to do a little shopping!!!

The colors are beautiful. I don't have tons of stash in this color, and when I venture out on my own it's never as good So, what shall I do to participate???

I am taking the paint chips and shopping for gold and reds. I will likely only buy 2-3 in each color (1 yard each) to keep it simple. Just look for some blender fabrics in dark gold and dark red, etc. If you do this like me, our quilts won't be as scrappy as those with lots of variety fabrics, but will still work out great. In her instructions Bonnie said you can use a single fabric in each color---which works for those of us that don't have the right stash. So you can just pick a few fabrics that won't be too hard.
