thank you for the info. I currently have magazines using the 3 ring binder method, and it takes up a lot of space.
I am constantly trying to get organized with sewing stuff and genealogy papers.
    thank you for this tip.

When I had a lot of printed information, I used to put it in large 3 ring binders. Now I keep most of it on my laptop. I have patterns and info all in one section and I back it up every few months so I wont' lose it. It keeps the paper and storage area to a minimum and all I have to do it take my laptop to the sewing room and read from it.

This is bringing up an older topic and one that's totally on my "must do" list right now. I'm looking for suggestions on what the categories you've selected for separating your patterns. I understand keeping Table Runners separate from, say Purses and Bags. I'm having a hard time filing the quilt patterns into logical groups.
    Any suggestions, please?

Great idea...thanks so much for sharing it with us! If you have several of these binders, you could store them in a magazine holder to save space and keep them from swimming around on your shelf. I have some wooden ones, as well as some clear acrylic ones.

I love this method. I've had my Bonnie Hunter pattern Books, and others bound like this. NEVER thought to have the pages out of magazines etc done this way too. GOOD THINKING, and thanks for sharing a great method.
