You enabler... I have one in the oven.
I don't use pie filling but made my own.

    long wide cake pan
    (I used spray Pam first)
    Pie filling in bottom
cake mix (I used a white mix)
microwaved about 3/4" of a stick of butter, drizzled over top.

On about 3" at one end I added grape nut flakes just as a test to see if it makes a good additional topping

Place in that order in pan, bake at 350 for about 40 minutes.

It will be out in about 1/2 an hour, beverages will be served with, all welcome No politics discussed...

There are lots of dump cakes on the internet, as well as mug cakes. Just type in what you want.

The dump cakes are good but, I find I am tired of them before they are all gone.

Here is a link to a mug dump cake - one serving. I would make one for me and one for Mr. stitchnripper. I don't think we could eat a big one either.

My favorite dump cake is peach/pecan.

    Grease 9x13" pan
1 (29 0z) can peaches with liquid into pan.
Sprinkle one one yellow cake mix.
1 1/2 cups melted butter drizzled over mix. Some just put slices of butter on top
Sprinkle brown sugar over top. Then chopped pecans
Bake 350 45min until brown and bubbly.

I saw a pumpkin dump cake but hubby isn't into cake much so we don't do cakes. It looked good but I'm trying to cut back on sugar. Just Google it unless you're a FBooker then search Taste and couple pages will come up.

My favorite dump cake is blueberry. Start with can of crushed pineapple with juice in bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread blueberry pie filling on top, then sprinkle dry lemon cake mix on top. Add chopped pecans as many as you like on top of cake mix. Slice one stick of butter or margarine very thinly and put on top. Bake at 350 for one hour. Serve with ice cream or whipped cream. So good

Think the recipe would work with fresh blueberries?
