Beautiful fabric. As for the quilting, not much will show on this fabric except for texture. I use Ambrosia by Hermione Agee for lots of quilts and it resembles paisley. It looks pretty on any quilt top and adds very pretty texture.

No, very small stash. Purchased just for a quilt for my brother and his wife. She is a purple girl and his nickname is Blue. Most of the paisley pantos are very dense and seem to compete to much with the fabric. Panto because am not confident in my FMQ yet.

something with a swirly design to go with the swirling of the paisley would look nice I think.

Thank you pewa88. I was so focused on finding a paisley. Your suggestion of the Ambrosia does what I hand in mind for the look that will not complete with the fabric and yes, give it the texture I am looking for in the quilt.

I have no idea on quilting designs. Just wanted to say that is a gorgeous fabric.

    Deriz56,
I don't know much about panto-graphs, but I think I would just follow the lines in the fabric. I do all of my quilting with a home sewing machine.
For anyone that wants to know where to buy that beautiful fabric, Hobby Lobby has it. I think I have at least 6 yards of it.

I agree. It would be fun.
