Virtual Quilting Weekend--8/3-8/5/18
#11
I have been collecting Row by Row patterns and heading out to get another one today
I will definitely be in the sewing room for a few hours each day working on them, but also I have to prepare my projects for a quilt camp out on the 19th.... looking forward to seeing lots of pictures as the weekend progresses.
Edited to add the Rows completed yesterday. shop in Ft St John, BC

I'm in....need to put the second border on a 'stack N whack' quilt that has been waiting for a suitable fabric...and then quilt a double four patch. If I get that done the weekend will be a success...at least to me!

I'm in. Just finished a baby quilt, working on another and want to get started on a PP project. Also need to put structural dowels on a competition quilt and a sleeve. Now that I think about it, need toput a sleeve on my daughter's dog wall hanging before she gets here on Sunday!
Better get going.

nice rows!
I turned in my Row by Row quilt last Saturday, and it's now hanging in the quilt shop.
I've got several quilts to bind, so that is what I'm doing.
But first DH and I have to make a trip into Sioux Falls as my beloved Juki 2010 started acting up this morning. I expect it needs some new electrical components. I'll try using my Babylock for binding, but if that does not work well I'll be pulling out my trusty, 30 year old Viking to get the job done. Glad I have a plethora of machines so I'm not stranded if one decided it's not going to cooperate.

This thread reminds me that I need to take my serger in and call my "new" OSMG. He's the husband of a lady in my sewing bee. I'm hoping he works out since I lost Kimberly from Junk in the Trunk. She was awesome.

Well, I got the last of the surface bits stitched to my art quilt top, now working on getting it sandwiched so I can quilt it. Just have to find a piece of fabric for the backing.... But first, I need a break. Did anyone bake cookies????? I'm getting ready to make some tea or maybe coffee, depends on what I decide when I get down to the kitchen....

Well, today has been fairly productive. I'm quilting with friends at a LQS tomorrow and then Sunday afternoon. So I prepared a few projects to take with me to work on. I finished a Lemoyne star table runner top today. It can go in the pile to be quilted!
Will check back in tomorrow, I have a few things to do before the Yankees/Red Sox game
